Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance, but can provide a superbill, which some companies use to reimburse for some services (this is up to you to discuss with your provider). If the fees feel out of your range of affordability please do not hesitate to reach out and see if we can find a cost that works for your budget.

What if I need to cancel?

Please provide 48 hour notice via phone or email if you need to cancel a scheduled appointment to avoid being charged for the session (exceptions for sudden illness or emergencies will be discussed on a case-by-case basis).

What about no-show, no-call, or late cancellations?

The fee for a no-show, no-call, or late cancellation is the full session fee.

How do I approach ketamine assisted therapy?

The relationship we build is extremely important. Allowing yourself to drop into a vulnerable, scary, exciting, and far-out experience is greatly improved if you can trust those around you. In our early sessions, before ketamine is involved, we will build our connection and my understanding of your internal landscape. There will be times where we check in together to see if what you’re feeling is aligned with my understanding and we will take each step mindfully. During the medicine work, I will remain a calm and quiet presence, allowing you to drop in fully. I will offer guidance and help in times of need. I will be a loving witness at each and every moment of your experience.

What about your therapeutic approach?

My role is to understand where you are on your path, your perspective on what has happened, the type of framework you use to welcome healing, and how we can work together to best support you moving forward. I often turn to Internal Family Systems to discuss the 'parts' of you that have developed throughout your life and integrate those pieces into a harmonious whole. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy works wonders, allowing you to feel into the story of your body and witness how it is stuck, keeping you safe, and yearning to heal. The body and the nervous system tell us a great deal about ourselves, and we can create ways to stabilize and ground it safety. Ultimately, I hope your body, mind, and heart will release burdens from your traumatic past and bring you in to a settled, peaceful, easeful present.

Biography

Coming from a background in existential philosophy, Buddhist meditation, spiritual longing, and transpersonal psychology, I have always been a seeker. For a long time I found my work as a psychotherapist sufficient to help others on their path. After returning to my life-long interest in psychedelic medicine, I discovered a 'way' to heal that did not involve me and came to see the true value of how medicine can help those looking to heal progress quickly, dive deeply, and make sense of their situations in a way that would prove difficult through traditional methods.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
